What is the Definition of Physical Chemistry ?

Is one of the branch of chemistry which discusses the relationship between the chemical nature and properties of substances based on the transformation of energy (potential energy changes in matter and energy environment). Physical chemistry study of the phenomenon of macroscopic, microscopic, atomic, subatomic particles and the chemical processes and systems based on the principles and concepts of physics. Physical chemistry use many of Physical Chemistry concepts and principles of Classical Physics (such as energy, entropy, temperature, pressure, surface tension, viscosity, Coulomb's law, dipole interactions), quantum physics (such as photons, quantum numbers, spin, probability, uncertainty principle), Mechanics and Statistics (such as the partition function, Boltzmann distribution).
